Who runs Dama Korea
Dama Korea is an independent publishing project based in South Korea, not a government body, travel agency or paid expert directory. It is operated under the Dama Korea publishing name. We do not invent a traveler, expert biography or first-person experience to make an article sound more authoritative.
We focus on the gap between a rule on an official page and the practical decision a reader still needs to make before or after arriving in Korea.
How we research
Each guide starts with the responsible agency, transport operator, regulator or service provider. The editor turns those rules into a decision sequence, identifies failure points and checks whether a reader can complete the task without relying on an unstated assumption.
Official-source research, observation, interviews and first-hand experience are labeled rather than blended together. A source link does not mean that organization endorses Dama Korea.
Our publication checklist
- The article answers one defined practical problem.
- Time-sensitive claims link to the responsible source.
- Limitations and cases that vary are visible near the advice.
- The reader receives a usable checklist, decision rule or Korean phrase.
- Material changes update the checked date.
