- Expanded the site's stated scope to product-image workflows for independent online sellers while retaining platform-specific Etsy and Shopify references.
- Rechecked Shopify's official product-media guidance and clarified current image limits, format support, the square-image recommendation and theme-dependent display behavior.
- Added a browser-only format-comparison tool that records actual output MIME types and file sizes for the visitor's own image.
- Reworked the guide, platform-reference, lab-note and tool hubs with introductory guidance and clearer paths between related material.

- Expanded the Etsy image reference with current supported formats, dimensions, upload-size caveats, color handling and search-visibility checks linked to Etsy help pages.
- Added an explicit Etsy/WebP warning beside the Image Prep and Image QA tools.
- Refocused the thumbnail guide on product meaning and Etsy's actual preview; separated the decision guides from their reproducible crop, format and memory experiments.
- Clarified editorial responsibility, source-check dates and how to report corrections.
