Calculate the usable arrival time
The time printed on the flight booking is not the time you reach public transport. Immigration queues, baggage delivery, customs and finding the correct terminal exit can add substantial uncertainty. A terminal change makes a tight connection even less dependable.
Check the airport and operator websites for the exact travel date. Seasonal schedules, holidays, weather and operational changes can make an old timetable useless.
Choose a backup you can afford
If a confirmed public service fits with a generous buffer, save its stop and payment method. Otherwise compare a metered taxi, a legitimate prearranged transfer, an airport-area hotel or waiting until morning. A cheap late flight can lose its savings when the arrival plan is improvised.

Avoid unofficial transport offers
Use official taxi queues, transport counters and clearly identified operators. Do not follow unsolicited offers in the arrivals hall. If you use a taxi, show the destination in Korean and confirm the payment method before departure.
